There’s a new generation of Lexus Multimedia that’s about to hit the market with the much-anticipated arrival of the 2022 Lexus NX. The all-new Lexus Interface with Touchscreen is the latest evolution of Lexus multimedia system technology and as of right now, exclusively offered on the 2022 Lexus NX – due to arrive at North Park Lexus Rio Grande Valley very soon – and the 2022 Lexus LX 600 – also coming soon to the Rio Grande Valley.

While there’s a lot to be said about the new Lexus Interface system, we are often asked about previous generations of Lexus Multimedia Systems. So, before we get into the next era of Lexus multimedia, the North Park Lexus RGV team put together a quick guide for you to find out which generation of Lexus Multimedia Systems is in your Lexus, starting with the 2015 model year.

The Lexus Multimedia System, previously known as Lexus Display Audio, rebranded the Lexus multimedia experience and identified itself with next Generation technology that was introduced alongside new model debuts and popular Lexus redesigns throughout the years. The Lexus Multimedia System began to identify itself by Generation to Lexus owners starting with the 2015 model year, where our guide to the Lexus Multimedia Systems begins.
