The new LC Convertible will be the first Lexus convertible to feature a power-retractable soft-top. The new soft-top is designed to open or close in about 16-seconds at speeds up to 31 miles per hour. Of course, you can get the top moving even faster at an estimated 15-seconds if you decide to open or close the convertible top when stopped, as we expect most people will be doing. The four-layer soft-top maintains the stylish roofline and profile that we love about the LC coupe while delivering new character traits that make the LC Convertible equally stunning with the top open as it is closed. One of these new character traits exclusive to the LC Convertible is seen at the rear. The LC Convertible trunk is accentuated with a “kicked-up” design that lifts its profile and features a new integrated center brake light into the trunk lid – unlike the LC coupe that has the brake light in the top of the rear windshield.

The LC Convertible is described by Lexus as a “top-down, year-round” experience. LC Convertible drivers and passengers can enjoy the wind in their hair year-round thanks to its advanced Lexus Climate Concierge with Upper Body Heating and new HVAC system optimized to send warm or cold air to the back of the driver’s hands when gripping the steering wheel. The 2021 LC Convertible has a base MSRP of $100,475* and will be built with three specific packages alongside several available options. One of these packages includes the limited-production Inspiration Series (LE) – this is the LC we got to see at the 2019 Los Angeles International Auto Show – and features the exclusive Structural Blue exterior color with Marine blue convertible top and bespoke Amalfi White semi-aniline leather interior with embossed headrests. Reportedly limited to just 100 vehicles for production, the LC Convertible Inspiration Series is definitely something you’ll want to order sooner rather than later.

The 2021 LC Convertible will also be built with the Touring Package or available All-Weather Package. If you’re looking to keep your LC Convertible as close to the base MSRP as possible, that would mean going with the All-Weather Package as it adds $250 to the price. Compared to the Touring Package which adds $6,180* and requires adding either the 20-inch wheel upgrade or 21-inch wheel upgrade which would essentially take the MSRP up to at least $109,305.*

Although official pricing has not yet been announced, we estimate that the 2021 LC Convertible with Touring Package and added options will have an MSRP of around $111,265.*
